The reader forwarded a link to an unboxing video and the FCC posted up the filing info for the MeeGo edition of the ASUS Eee PC X101 netbook.
The unboxing video is done in Vietnam and the presenter is speaking Vietnamese but you do get to see the upcoming 9 MeeGo netbook from Asus unboxed and explored for the first time. Check out the video from YouTube user

Now at the
href="https://apps.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas/reports/ViewExhibitReport.cfm?mode=Exhibits&RequestTimeout=500&calledFromFrame=N&application_id=194044&fcc_id=" target="_blank">FCC the ASUS Eee PC X101 made a quick pass through for certification and some photos of the netbooks insides and outsides were captured and posted. The FCC takes apart every product they examine and below are some of the photos from the X101′s examination:

As a bit of clarification the new FCC update spotted today by Brad Linder at
href="http://liliputing.com/2011/07/asus-eee-pc-x101-meego-linux-netbook-hits-the-fcc.html" target="_blank">Lilputing is the MeeGo model, the previous ASUS Eee PC X101H model (
href="https://fjallfoss.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas/reports/ViewExhibitReport.cfm?mode=Exhibits&RequestTimeout=500&calledFromFrame=N&application_id=475011&fcc_id=%27MSQ-X101HNE785H%27" target="_blank">FCC) was the Windows 7 edition which is set to cost around 0 when it comes to market.
At this time Asus hasn’t released any release details for this netbook but the word around is the netbook will launch in early September.
