Who are these laptops going to be good for?
The question of who these two affordable laptops will be good for is a good one. The performance offered in these machines won’t please gamers, HD video editors, pro-level photo editors, and just power users in-general. The AMD chip inside the AMD is good for handling web browsing, HD video playback, and light multi-tasking, but it is much slower at processing than the chips in more expensive laptops. As for the Intel Core i3 in the Samsung it will carry you through most tasks like the AMD based Toshiba, but again you can do better performance-wise if you’re willing to spend the extra money.
Honestly these two laptops given their price-points, performance, and styling make them good machines for kids or even elderly folks just trying to get online. If there is one thing these two laptops will be able to do at a similar level to more expensive machines it’s getting online.
