Samsung Series 9 laptop in Moonlight Blue lands in America

Is it still sexy? That’s the question buzzing around the web following the launch of the Blue title="Samsung Series 9" href="http://laptop-computer-planet.com/blog/tag/samsung-series-9/" target="_blank">Samsung Series 9 ultra-thin laptop computer.

The premium Samsung Series 9 laptop was launched last year with an all-Black metal body that had a brushed finish to it, the laptop which came in 11.6 and 13.3-inch variations was well received and thought to be one of the best looking laptops of 2011 by many. Were into a new year now, 2012, and Samsung wants to keep the 2011 Series 9 laptop design alive by offering a few limited edition colors that include the Blue that is pictured above.

Over the past few months Samsung has announced a series of limited edition versions of the Series 9 laptop that would be available in limited locations. For their own home country of South Korea the limited edition Series 9 was launched in late 2011 in Moonlight Blue and Luxury Rose Gold colors. Just the other day the U.S. got the Moonlight Blue option through home shopping network href="http://www.qvc.com/qic/qvcapp.aspx/view.2/app.detail/params.item.E222255.desc.Samsung-133-Intel-Core-i5-4GB-RAM-128GBHD-4YrAntivirus/walk.html.%7Cleftnav%7Chb_my_beauty_bag_leftnav,html" target="_blank">QVC’s online store.

In respect to it’s features the Moonlight Blue Samsung Series 9 isn’t all that different from the Black standard Series 9 laptop. The laptop that QVC is selling is priced at ,599 and it’s decked-out with a 1.6 GHz Intel Core i5-2467M dual-core processor, 4GB of DDR3 RAM,  128GB SSD, and a 13.3-inch HD (1366×768) LED backlit screen with up to 400-nits brightness.

The new models aren’t going to be available for purchase until February 27, 2012. The new models are still going to be a part of the Series 9 laptop family, but the precise model names will be a bit different from the previous generation.
